Kuwait's direct investment authority gives feedback on a proposal in 3 business days and a final decision within 30 working days. Its service fees are set by Ministerial Decision No. 182 of 2022, which the licensing page does not reproduce, so no reliable figure in Kuwaiti dinars can be quoted from public pages.
How long does a licence decision take?
The authority publishes both ends of the process, which is more than most investment bodies do. An early read on the proposal comes back quickly; the formal decision has a stated outer limit.

Treat the second marker as the planning number. Thirty working days is roughly six weeks of calendar time, before the company registration that follows, so a Kuwaiti entry is not a same-month project in the way a Dubai free zone licence can be.
Where are the fees set?
In Ministerial Decision No. 182 of 2022. The licensing page names the decision and refers to a schedule, but the amounts are in a separate document rather than on the page itself. That is a meaningful difference from the UAE, where a free zone will print a starting price next to the licence it sells.
If a consultant gives you a precise Kuwaiti dinar total, ask which schedule it comes from and when they last checked it. That question is not hostile; it is the same one we would have to answer before printing a number here.
What happens after the licence?
The last stage is the one people forget when comparing countries. The investment licence is permission to invest; the commercial licence and registration are what actually create the trading company, and they involve a separate ministry with its own fees and its own timetable.
What is deliberately absent here
Every Kuwaiti dinar figure. Several setup firms advertise them, and some are probably accurate, but none we checked cites a page that shows the schedule. When the fee document can be opened and dated, the figures will be added here with their source, in the same format as the UAE pages.
